EducatorZapp, Inc. was founded with the mission to "transform the way teachers and school staff are hired to promote better teachers in the classrooms, improved 'fit' of employees to school districts, and reduced recruiting costs so more money can go to the classrooms" The technology reduces paper, it accelerates business processes, it manages data, it facilitates communication, it reduces costs. Most importantly, however, it improves the quality of education by transforming one of the most important processes a district performs: teacher recruiting, selection and placement.

We have been working since 1997 with school districts, applicants, teacher preparation programs, human resources experts, policy makers, non-profit organizations and academic scholars on the subject of "highly qualified" educators. In 2004 we synthesized this knowledge with new technologies to provide a flexible, function-rich, and affordable solution for individual districts as small as 100 students and as large as multi-state confederations of districts.
